I recently purchased a Farm Maxx ( Kolwalski) FDM 185 Drum Mower from Carver Equipment. The mower arrived a couple days earlier than expected. The mower requires assembly which can be intimidating, however 2 people can assemble pretty easily. Watch the videos available. The day before I was going to cut hay for the first time, I had some serious questions that gave me concerns. The problem was it was 6:30 on Friday night.
After messaging Kyle with Carver Equipment, I really didn't expect an answer. Kyle messaged me that night, and answered my questions. I thanked him, and told him he had created a loyal customer. As for the mower, I couldn't have been more pleased. I was able to cut an overgrown field with tons of Johnson Grass with no problems. I was also able to run at an increased speed like never before. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I would pull that trigger again.

Kyle... Just to let you know. We successfully put it all together and leveled it and have successfully cut 15 acres with it. The leveling was tricky, but we got it done. The field was very high and thick ... maybe 3-4 big bales per acre of coastal bermuda, so we had to go a bit slow, but it cut really well. So far so good and I'm very pleased. We put it on a 37 HP Kubota with front end loader rather than my larger tractor and ran at 2200 RPM.

I wanted to thank you for selling me the Sicma-Phoenix M60S finish mower.
I have two 30 year old plus tractors and live on very hilly terrain, so I chose the 60 over the 72.
I am really glad I did, the extra 500 rpm really make this mower sing.
The assembly was very easy, I really like the two smaller single loop belts instead of the more
common longer serpentine belts. The two belts cost less than the one larger one and the
blades are less expensive than the ones for my older woods finish mower.
The rear discharge is fantastic. No large clumps of grass.
This mower was an extremely good value. I am very pleased with the purchase.
I notices there are holes along the back of the mower, I assume for a chain to prevent rocks
and sticks to be thrown out. Is that an option I can purchase?

This is follow up on a sickle bar I bought from you last spring.
Just used it this past weekend. Worked great with my John Deere 1023 family tractor.
Took a little addition for a rear hydraulic hook up and a little understanding of the
flow control fittings through a local hydraulics shop but I love the unit.
Just thought I would pass on my satisfaction with the product.

It is fantastic.
Very pleased.
It's going 8" in one pass with proper speed and the rear gate all the way up,
and isn't even taxing the tractor.
Very promising. I got the hipper ripper ready but have not used it
- however - it is clear that is twice the quality of other stuff I saw available for
about the same price.

Well, everything is under cover now in anticipation of several months of snow.
But I did get quite a bit of use out of the mower. I was using it to mostly clear up
areas near fences that I could not reach with a bush-hog.
We have an invasive honeysuckle bush that is very aggressive up here.
It puts out berries that the birds eat then spread as they sit on the fences.
I used the mower to reach under the fences between the posts to cut the smaller
bushes up to 3/4".
It works really well and I was pleased it was able to cut those tough bushes
without breaking sections. I also used it to clean out an old raspberry patch that
was overgrown with weeds. We had so much rain this past summer the weeds
took over. Overall, very pleased with the 5 ft sicklle bar mower.
We used the potato digger on a couple rows of potatoes we had left to dig and it
worked well. The ground was a bit wet so it did slab some. I expect it will work
very well with dry soil next year.
The planter is simplicity and we'll put it to work next spring.
