Loflin Fabrication Skid Steer Wood Splitter

If you heat with wood or process firewood on your property, the Loflin Fabrication Wood Splitter turns your skid steer into a 35-ton splitting machine — and the inverted design means one person can operate the machine and split wood from the cab, cutting your labor time in half. No more needing a second set of hands to load rounds. Built in North Carolina with a heavy-duty round-tube beam, enclosed cylinder, and Parker hydraulics, this splitter is ready to work the day it arrives.

Features

  • 35-Ton Splitting Capacity
Handles the toughest hardwoods — oak, hickory, elm, and knotty rounds that would stall a consumer-grade splitter.
  • Inverted Operation from the Cab
Two-position quick attach lets you run the splitter inverted so you can operate it from the skid steer seat. One person can load, split, and stack — no helper needed.
  • Round Tube Main Beam Design
Unique round tubing construction prevents beam twist under heavy loads, a common failure point on flat-beam designs.
  • 5" Bore x 36" Stroke Hydraulic Cylinder
Enclosed cylinder with a 32¼" opening width handles large-diameter rounds. The enclosed design protects the cylinder from debris and damage.
  • Replaceable Nylon Guides
Nylon beam guides prevent metal-on-metal galling and are easy to replace when worn — extending the life of the main beam.
  • Oversized Greasable 1¾" Pins
Heavy-duty pivot pins with grease fittings for long service life and smooth operation.
  • Parker Hydraulic Components
Comes equipped with Parker brand hoses, fittings, and couplers — job-site ready out of the box.
  • Wide Flow Compatibility (6–40 GPM)
Works with a broad range of skid steer loaders, from compact machines to full-size units.

Available Options

  • Table and Hand Control
For upright ground-level operation when you prefer to work outside the cab.
  • 4-Way Wedge
Quarters rounds in a single pass instead of halving them, speeding up your firewood processing significantly.
