Effortless Operation with Manual or Hydraulic Fold:
The Farm-Maxx Sickle Bar Mower offers both manual and hydraulic fold configurations. For manual operation, the mower is raised and lowered using your tractor's hydraulic three-point hitch. The cutter bar angle is adjusted by controlling the hydraulic cylinder from the tractor seat. For easy transport, simply raise the cutter bar to a 90° vertical position and secure it with a rigid transport locking rod. This ensures quick and convenient adjustments while you work.
Hydraulic Requirements:
To operate the mower's hydraulic functions, your tractor will need a remote hydraulic valve. You may need to purchase hydraulic hose ends that are compatible with your tractor's quick coupler fittings. In some cases, a front-end loader valve can be used for hydraulic control.
