The Farm-Maxx FTHR Series Reverse Tine Rotary Tillers are built for operators who want deeper penetration, smoother finishes, and fewer passes. These heavy-duty gear-drive tillers are engineered for compact and utility tractors, with reverse tine rotation that pulls the unit into the soil for better breaking, mixing, and residue burial.
Reverse rotation creates a finer seedbed while reducing the need for multiple passes — making these tillers a great choice for food plots, gardens, landscaping, and small-farm field prep.
Why Reverse Rotation Matters
Reverse tine action forces the tiller deeper into the ground, breaking up hard soil and clods while lifting debris over the rotor and burying it under a layer of finely tilled soil. The result is a cleaner, smoother finish in fewer passes than conventional forward-rotation tillers.
