The SPA-T “Baby” planter is ideal for growers who want to reduce manual labor while improving planting speed and overall crop uniformity. Precision Seed Placement An adjustable coulter forms a clean furrow while a ground-driven chain with cups places each tuber at the desired depth. Multiple planting distance settings allow operators to achieve consistent spacing for improved emergence and uniform crop development.

Plant spacing can be easily changed using interchangeable pinions, offering four distance options:

• 10″
• 12″
• 14″
• 16″

Two adjustable rear discs provide variable soil coverage to properly close the furrow after planting.

Ground Driven Operation

The SPA-T operates from a ground-driven axle, eliminating the need for a PTO shaft. This simplifies hookup and reduces mechanical complexity.

Tractor Mounted Design

Attaches easily to a standard Category I 3-point hitch, making it suitable for common compact tractor setups. Maximum recommended tractor size is 25 HP.
