Top and Tilt -- Remote valves

Available (but seldom sold) on Grande L. series tractor. The kit allows for the three point hitch lift arm and top link to be lengthened and shorten via the hydraulic valves. Thus you are able to change the implement's settings from the seat and while operating the implements.

This function is usually considered with landscaping implements. You can also achieve the results without the top and tilt kit provided you purchase implements that have the hydraulic adjustment features as well as hydraulic remote cylinders and hoses.

Your tractor will need one remote valve (2 hose outlets) for each remote cylinder (two hoses).  Remote valves usually cost around $550. Each. Top and Tilt kit cost around $950. Plus it requires that at least two remote valves to be installed on the tractor average cost $1100.

Note - recommend getting three remotes with top and tilt. The T/T kit will use two and therefore you'll need the third valve if another auxiliary cylinder an implement is needed.

Lot's consider it, but only a few shoppers end up purchasing top and tilt feature. The extra cost of the hydraulic features and implements up-charge (approx. $2500.) gives very little extra performance and increases likelihood of future adjustments and leakage maintenance issues.
