First time EVER to drive a "B series tractor / loader"

(basic driving/starting instructions)

sc - Relax, as easy as driving your auto.

We completely checked the tractor over before driving it on the truck. It is full of fuel, battery well charged, all fluid levels checked. We think it is ready to "go to work."

1. Read operators manual.
2. Make sure you have clear travel path ahead or behind.
3. Adjust, click on and tighten seat belt.
4. Place gear speed range selector (on LH fender wall) in Neutral position.
5. Press clutch pedal (LH foot) to the bottom.
6. Place throttle lever settings at 1/3 open (pull down about an inch).
7. Turn key (as if in car) , engine should start up.
8. Push the throttle lever to the top (slowest engine rpms) idling.
9. Raise loader with Joystick control valve lever. Pull it straight back slowly as loader. arms and bucket rare raised. Raise no higher than need to clear the ground/truck bed.
10. Lift the three point hitch by moving the "lift lever control" on the RH fender wall (from forward to beck position). The implement will raise.
11. Press clutch, move trans speed range selector to LOW (slowest) setting (kind'a like the DRIVE I setting in your car). Carefully now -- when you release the clutch the power will be automatically transferred to the HYDROSTATIC PEDAL at your right foot.
12. Parking Brake Release -- Press down firmly on the RH brake pedals with your RH foot as you release the ORANGE PARKING BRAKE KNOB under the steering wheel (RH lower console) and you >>
13. Position right foot on to Hydr. Pedal. marinating a LEVEL plane.  When you press down with or toe --- you'll go/move/travel forward, down with your heel -- reverse. Raise your foot -- the transmission will stop powering your direction movement. To stop remove foot from Hydra trans pedal and press on the brake pedal.
14. Carefully now drive tractor off the trailer at slow engine rpms and ground speed. Remember to adjust the loader and implements heights if needed.
15. Best safety rule -- "go Slow and keep load LOW."

Have fun.
